The British appear to be even more obsessed with reality TV than South Africans. That being said, they do have quite a few interesting shows, particularly ones about buy and developing property.
At the moment the 2 shows that have been entertaining me in the evenings are the latest Big Brother series, and X-Factor (rebranded Idols) Battle of the Stars.
Big Brother is a house full of freaks, who are driving each other so insane 2 people walked out within the first week!!!
X-Factor: Battle of the Stars is a charity event with celebrities singing their guts out to win the competition. The final was last night, and despite all my voting Matt Stevens (Durban boy who plays rugby for Bath and England) came second!! He was really brilliant, and sang better than many real pop stars. He even did a bit of dancing which didn't look too bad considering his girth (he plays prop).
